I have installed MENCODER, FLVTOOLS2 and FFMPEG on my dedicated linux redhat server.
When i convert any files( say AVI) to FLV format ... some how the Video is faster than the audio. I use the following to convert AVI file to FLV file. Quote:
NOTE: VIDEO is very fast ... compared to AUDIO. This is my problem. I want proper sync. Your help is highly appreciated |

Can't help but I have the same problem, am trying to see it there's a solution, will post here if I find one. It is a BAD problem, who's going to post to a ClipShare site if it makes them look like they don't know how to edit?

try searching on
sound is out of sync can't say i understand much of it yet but it seems to be a good thread for an answer. Have to wonder why ClipShare can't ship the template with this problem already fixed. |

I have many such videos. Generally it is encoded as WMV with variable bitrate.
Clipshare should use ffmpeg instead mencoder. Try convert file with ffmpeg and you see it yourself. This is NORMAL for mencoder. Mencoder lagged and buggy tool. |
