HI all, can anyone tell me if Paypal is a usable option as yet?

I've been waiting for a response on 3 threads, 2 support tickets and 1 private message on the same topic. I can't get paypal to update the users record once the user makes a payment.

Have you gotten this to work?

I would like to use the paypal to sell something, I can see the folder, but I don't know how to use it.

Clip-share should reliese some documentation for the software, so everyone can be able to use it, but like this, is a bit to complicated

Paypal competence questions (whether it works, or not, it's level of competence etc) are NEVER answered. I'm not exaggerating, just do a search for paypal...not one question on its fuctionality has EVER been answered by admin. In fact it was one of my first posts. It was read, then, quintessentially, Pro ignored.

So don't hold your breath! Unless...you're amphibian!!!

I emailed them directly and finally got a response back. They said they can't open a paypal account in Romania so they can't test it. That is why it has never been addressed. I offered openning an account for them and communicating via email. I offered to run real transactions through it. Nothing back yet, but at least I got some kind of response.

I'll everyone updated as I hear more. Hopefully we can get this solved once and for all. =)

I'm using PayPal on clipmod.com.

What to do:
1. Sign up on paypal.com
2. Register a credit card
3. Register a phone number
4. Register a bank account
5. When registering the bank account they will deposit to that account 2 quantities (cents though), you will need to wait fro 5 to 7 bussiness days to be able to see the deposits on your statement (if your bank has online service).
6. Enter these two quantities, and activate your bank account.
7. Go to Market Place tab and select a payment method (i use click buy buttons)
8. Enter yor product information
9. Copy the form code
10. Paste it where you want to show the "Buy" button.
11. Upload your file
12. Thats it!

What they're discussing is that Clipshare's 'membership module', that should work with paypal, doesn't. It's not functional, for whatever reason

My web site is free though but i think you need to compile it with your paypal account.
Not pretty sure but it might work.
Even if it's not "automatically" activating the user, you could make (by hand) the user as paying user (when you get the payment).
It will be a bit harder but you will still get money from it

They took my payment for the script with a paypal payment so the excuse they don't have one is BS....
