i dont know now how much it will be because first its made only for my behalf, and this is really special.

i can tell you the status quo:

old system - joomla with cbe plus cs with there own dbs
new system- all in one db

first we decided to have two servers with two dbs to trigger but now it seems to be better to have one db for both scrips.
user details like nick, passwords, about me and so on is syncronized and from now on every new registered is in both systems.
there are a few things left but its working fine until now.

and it wont be a bridge you just install, it will be a question of "gimme access and we do it for you" like the installation service of cs.
maybe sometimes there will be a bridge but it depends on what you wanna do or what you have installed before...

one of the problems:
i first used the community builder and upgraded to the community builder extended.
when you want the userpics in the db you must do that manually because both the cb and the cbe use different prefixes for the pics names....

my only wish was not to loose the existing customers but now it looks like an amazing peace of db engineering to me.

i promise to keep you informed about it

yes, maybe later cause at the moment i dont use 1.5.
but we think of changing soon and this would be an idea to make it also for 1.5.

the biggest problem now is the way sessions are handled by joomla - seems to be made by a drunk coder

well ask your programmer about doing it for 1.5 as its got a new API as the bridges are suppose to be completely seperate as a couple are being developed for phpbb forum 3 and joomla 1.5 and does not require any changes to the core files..

i would be interested in purchasing a bridge for joomla as PM and how much it would cost.

you have a sample of your site?

in the meantime the site is online.

its still cs2.6 and joomla 1.x.

next we want to try out cs3 and joomla 1.5 but it will take time again.

www.tv1.at

all of the system is cs without the "news" which come from joomla.

This would a great add-on to offer. I'm not a technical guy at all, but I definately would feel more comfortable using Clipshare within a Joomla site.
