Is vBulletin the only product integrated thus far or is there plan for SMF or even phpBB? If not, why not those?

As for password changes, I notice Clip-Share doesnt have that in the User Profile is this part of the limitation why you let the forum manage that?

Right, but that is a completely different thing - it is a same server setup, not a remote system. From the requests we got until now, 80% of our clients needed the possibility of integrating remote systems.

Found the clipshare + vbulletin bridge for $95 if anyone doesn't want to get ripped off!

Fair enough $200 for a custom first time install but then the same price for just the bridge, no custom work done is just a kick in the teeth.

your post does not tell the truth, sorry for missing it. I was given a link to your post by a client who just purchased the integration you are mentioning, and was unable to install it because he has ClipShare on another server, while that integration is a very classic and basic same-server integration.

First, our integration is a remote integration. It works on same server setups, but it supports fully remote server setup. This proved invaluable to all our clients that had a popular ClipShare who really could not run on the same vBulletin server. And even if you do not need this feature immediately, it will make moving your ClipShare in another server extremely easy when you need to. The added complexity of a remote integration cannot compare to a same server integration. And even leaving aside that, people who got ours installed and had previously tried that integration know the difference, as shown in the thread.

Second, our product WITHOUT installation service, like theirs, costs $135, not $200; the $200 price includes installation service, which can take anywhere between 1 to 3 hours. So, our price is in line with some other products for sale on ClipShare's official product list. Considering the complexity of our integration compared to that one (which leads also to more errors on our clients' side when they try to install this by themselves), and the amount of feedbacks for ours in the forums, it's really not that much of a difference.

Third, our integration includes features like:
- Avatar sharing
- vBulletin Usergroup on ClipShare side! Give access/upload rights to channels only to specific usergroups!
- vBulletin's pmunread/pmtotal variable available on ClipShare side (you can edit your CS templates to use them)
- Latest/Random Video Box for vBA (with CS SEO urls support)
- Latest/Random Video Box for the forums (with CS SEO urls support)
- Automatic Links to user's ClipShare profile (with CS SEO urls support) added in user's postbit menu
- Full support for Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Chinese characters.
- Great documentation with many tips

Do not spread false news as people might end up purchasing an integration they cannot use or that does half what our integration can do for $40 less.

For those asking because they cannot see the CS 4 forums - yes, this integration is available and is updated to the CS 4 version. It has become the most popular remote integration for CS 4, but you need a valid CS license to see the thread in the CS 4 forums.
