Where is the watch/upload/share tpl?

I'm in the process of customizing my templates, and I can't find the template for the Watch/Upload/Share part under the search bar.

I found it in the index.tpl, but after editing, it didn't change anything. I even deleted the index.tpl entirely off the server to see if it was in use, and nothing changed. (?) I've got to be missing something, I'm sure.

O.k. forget I posted this.
I obviously need to call it quits for the night.

I was replacing the index.php instead of the index.tpl. So that is why none of my changes were showing up.
