Default Website template Integration.....

So I have been working long and hard to integrate my current website template with Clipshare. to say the least, with lack of better words, its been a bitch. This mainly due to my lack of knowledge with hard coding tables. I'm used to either CSS or using page builders to manage tables.

First I had to re-design my site WITH tables rather than my current CSS format. With the correct builder (FrontPage, haha) that was easy.

Second I began to...not RIP the code, but to delete certain parts of the code to let it work with the template. Too say the least I HATE the way CS is designed to use the tpl files, however upon further review I do feel it was the better way to go...

Third I basically went to every part of my site (logged in AND logged out) and did guess work by changing small things here and there and re-uploading them to see how it looked. lol. This took time.

Either way you can see my progress, no its not done but close I think.

Just take note of the base template and compare to the video section's looks. Pretty close if you ask me. I have a while before I am going to launch the site so I'm not bothered by leaving a half finished template up so on that note I KNOW certain things don't look right. I'm working on it.

so, what do you guys think thus far?

Default nice

I like what you have done. Any plans to document what you have done so that other people could do the same?

Hey Frostywars,
I think you have done a commendable intergration considering your knowledge, it must have taken you an age!
Everytime I try to do some thing different with it, it breaks.

Best wishes
Joe

Ya it seems to be a complicated template setup just from the different layers it uses to display. interesting none the less.

I think customizing this script to make it look like the way you want is a bit of work but can be fun.

Great job with your customizing job, Frosty!
