Change path of watch, upload, share

I have changed the language on my homepage banner from 'Share' to 'Audio'

Now, I would like to change the path from 'www.exposedvocals.com/signup' to www.audio.exposedvocals.com

I have looked all over this forum - could anyone point me in the correct direction, please? Thanks!

In some providers, the usually edit .htaccess file but I'm not sure what file you need to edit here.

seourl rewrite in .htaccess file will provide this function. It's tricky. Read up online.

You still need to mod rewrite to direct your link to the signup.php file. It's still a .htaccess mod-rewrite function. What's wrong with just signup?

Well www.yourdomain.com/signup is the standard URL for the signup page. You want to change that to an alternate location. This is handled by a RewriteRule in .htaccess.

Usually it's used to stay within www.yourdomain.com, not to go to another subdomain. Why bother. This seems like a tweak you like that nobody else bothers to do and is rather non-standard. You are not signing up for multiple services in the signup page, so why make it look like it's somewhere else. It seems like a lot of bother for no good reason. exposedvocals.com/signup should work just fine.

I see what you mean! To be honest with you, I never really thought about that. I agree with you and I will add it to my list of modifications. As you can probably tell (by looking at my site) and by my posts; that I am a beginner and to change that to an alternate location via a RewriteRule in .htaccess, just seems a bit intimidating. I still have some questions that I am too embarrassed to ask on this forum! So, trust me when I say Thank You!
