i don't think this would be a smart idea, as clipshare is considered now the most popular youtube clone.... If clip-share would become something else, it can loose it's name

Let ClipShare team decide the way they go.
I'm pretty sure they know far better than you and me what is on market and which way it goes.
Personally I do not like sites that are offering too much of different sort.
