Question about Users

I saw in a site based on clipshare that when you wanted to sign up, it gave you two choices. The one was to become a free member which was totally free but it had a bandwidth limit which was reseted every week. The other option was to become a gold member.
The question is how you can do that? Is is possible before i buy the script to tell the developer to do this modification?

Sign Up:
-Free user: NOT TRIAL, bandwidth resets every week
-Gold User: for 30 days, he has to pay

In the current version of clip-share i don't see to be such an option. It just has a trial version and a version which you have to pay.
Somebody to answer this and i'll buy the product the next moment.

This feature is already built-in the script, supporting Paypal. However, you may have as many membership packages as you want, but ONLY ONE free Trial package. The bandwidth is reset MANUALLY, using the Admin Panel.

yeah but i can't have a free user package. The 2.5 version has only the option for trial members. Not for free members. I also want the bandwidth to be reseted automatically and not manually. Can YOU do this modification before i buy it?

What do i have to do be clear? I am willing to PAY you extra if you can this modification. As i told you i saw it in a website. However i can't post the address here because it has adult content.

yep i think there should be an option like that for CS it is more wanted so why cant u have both for those who want trial and for those who want free

and u defently need an option for the users on the administration page so we can change users package

3.0.1 is releasing these days. You should wait for a next versions. From now on, VERY FREQUENT updates will be made to the script, so you will not have to wait much...

You CANNOT use FREE and PAID packages at the same time!
THINK!
Free packages have no limitations, in bandwidth or whatever.
Paid Packages have limitations.
What do you think would happen, if you used both?
EVERYONE WOULD SIGN UP FOR FREE!

so, you either have free OR paid. Additionally, paid packages have "Trial" package, to test the system, before a user goes to a "bigger" package.

the clear change you are asking for is that:
THE TRIAL PACKAGE HAS NO LIMITATIONS
but
LOCKS OUT THE ACCOUNT AFTER SOME TIME.
So a user tries for free, then has to pay.
But even in this case, someone can make MULTIPLE free acounts, month after month and exploit the system.
The reason we don;t have this feature is not limitations in the software, it is LIMITATIONS IN THE LOGICS OF THIS FEATURE.

So, the ONLY logical solution in your case is the following:
- Some features are for registered users only (which registered users signup with PAID subscriptions).
- Some other features are FREE, for users or guests. For everyone. Meaning, eg:
You can watch up to a ceratin # of videos or a certain # of seconds, youhave ONLY access to some areas. THEN, you have to regiter and PAY, for all oyther features.

I have to inform you that you can do this, with ClipShare 3.0.1, BY USING THE PERMISSIONS SYSTEM, in the Administration Area.
