so, you either have free OR paid. Additionally, paid packages have "Trial" package, to test the system, before a user goes to a "bigger" package.

Free packages HAVE limitations in bandwidth but they last for ever.
Paid Packages have NO limitaions.
How simple should i say? It is like file sharing sites like rapidshare or megaupload that you have the option for free or paid membership. But nobody tells you that you can't download for free after some days, beacause they are not trial memberships.

I want to do the same thing only instead of limit the bandwidth, limit the individual file size.... for example:

Free Members: Unlimited Bandwidth and Unlimited time in the trial account, but they are limited to uploading 100MB or smaller files.

Paid Members: Unlimited Bandwidth and time. And they can upload files up to 200MB in size.

I would like to be able to enter the file size limit (in kb) for each member group under the users page in the admin section.

I'm sorry...I want to set it in the packages settings, not the users page.

Or instead of an unlimited trial, if we could just set a new package up with a price of $0, without it sending you to paypal when you sign up.

I want both free and paid subscriptions.

However is there a way to set it so a free subscription never expires?
My members will recieve an email every 8 weeks as part of there free membership explaining the benefits of upgrading. And they agree to recieve this email in the terms and conditions thus it is not spam.

Maybe in a future release you could add this option. Maybe on signup for the free members they click a box accepting that they will recieve an email ever x amount of time in regards to the sites paid memberships??
