New Flash Player for ClipShare 3.0.1!

We have finished integrating Valentine's new Flash Player for ClipShare 3.0.1. You can see the Player in action at:
http://www.sane-city.com

This Player will be integrated in 3.0.1 final build (build 13). Vista teplates for 3.0.1 will follow in about a week or so.

i dont see the share button when the video is finished , its just a watch button and when i embed the video in another site i still see the old player.

- The OLD Player will be used for embedding, for security reasons.
- The "Share" option in 3.0.1 is moved outside the Player, right under the video, in the "Share" tab, to avoid problems with pop-up blockers.
The Player will continue to be developed and will get better, given time.

On http://www.sane-city.com/ on the new player you can't see the part with the controls looks like it's chopped.

You all could do like the Agriya folks and make more $$$ off your player than off the actual video sharing script if you ensure the player will work for the end user who doesn't even use Clip-share.

The new Flash Player in 3.0.1 will be used only in view_video.php. In all other pages, the second, embeddable player is still used, since we will soon proceed in changes, so you can use any embed code you like in these pages (Channel Homepage, User Profile, Index page).

The New Flash Player is also branded. Upon requesting the re-branding service, you will receive 2 re-branded Players, the main one and the embedded one.

1. Do both the new flash player and embedded player support video advertisements as discussed earlier and can you put a demo video Advertisement up so we can see it. If the embedded players can play video advertisement that will be a good thing too.

2. Without giving away security secrets, why does having the old player for embedding better for security reasons. Having an embedded player that brings surfers back to your site is important and video ads on embedded videos can make us a ton of money.

This is what you get now with 3.0.1. EVERYTHING you and others have requested are to be implemented in the next (intermediate, not major) version, VERY soon. If we could have what you ask for till now, we would have done it. It's just a matter of time in developing and implementation. I believe we should not delay this version much longer... The "Vista" templates for 3.0.1 are also more that 50% done and should be out soon, however, I have to take a break for some days.

I will address tomorrow some issues I have left behind, like support to some customers and some Suport Tickets. Then, I AM GOING AWAY FOR SOME DAYS, to get some rest...

Danny has received the final build of 3.0.1.
