Feedback on CS 3.0 !

Okay so there is no feedback forum so ill post it here.

ClipShare 3.0.1 is awesome! worked for me right out of the box, no problems, no shitty thumbs, no issues, fresh install and looks great.

Software is very customizable and you can pretty much make it unrecognizable as a ClipShare software.

Good job guys! (ive been waiting 4 months for this!). Keep it up and ALL HAIL ARYOS!

Don't want to rain on your parade... but upload some FLV files ... more then one and see if you don't get graining thumbs. I bet you do!

Mencoder has issues on some flv file types, has nothing to do with CS. The good new is we dump Mencoder in favor of FFmpeg for conversion/thumbs in future versions.

I don't use FLV files so I couldn't care less to be honest. all uploads are done from one's computer.

If someone could post a quick patch to this that would be great. Looking through the code I generally have figured out where to make this change but would rather just get the fixed version.

I think I read someone did a ffmpeg mod for thumbnails already... had some features built in.

I have a bunch of FLV files so that is why I'm in need of this fix sooner rather then later.

the file to edit is convert.php, you will find the conversion commands (2) pretty easily, and if you look to some FFmpeg tutorials, you can play around and manage to make ffpmeg convert, until next version or fix released.

Quick question: how do you disable the feature to give users the option of uploadin adult stuffs, any way you can do this from the AC?
