Default MediaShare & ClipShare

Seems like some clarification is needed...

MediaShare is not entirely our product. It has been developed independently by a team of programmers, and we have reached a deal with them to BRAND / ADVERTISE / DISTRIBUTE their product in exchange for a percent of sales. We have the "know-how" since ClipShare is the most popular video script.

It is a totally different product, with a different purpose (media sharing instead of video sharing), developed and supported by a totally different team of programmers, which are NOT our programmers. We are only responsible for the things mentioned above. They came with the code and support, we came with the "know-how" and marketing. Simple as that.

These being said:

- You can't demand to get MediaShare for free because you are a ClipShare customer
- You can't upgrade ClipShare to MediaShare by paying the difference. (You may only receive a small discount)

Favicon isnt anything. Im sure Danny helped them out a bit and perhaps vice versa. Regardless they both have different uniqueness. Im happy to see that mediashare and clip-share are available at a reasonable price.
Im glad that Danny introduced us to mediashare. I would have never found them.
thanks,
Flashcrawler.

First of all, it is not US who made those features for MediaShare. It has been developed independently by a small team of programmers.

Second, ClipShare is focused on VIDEO sharing, just as its name says. It has always been a video sharing script. We've added the most requested features, like SEO URLs, Multi-Language, CSS Templates etc. Image and Audio sharing weren't top priority. They are planned for future versions, they be will be there. We did not make any promise about these. There are cheap 3rd party modules already to add audio and photo sharing. I don't think our version planning affected our clients in any way. Audio and Photo sharing were never announced for ClipShare 3.0.

What is happening ? I don't get it. I don't understand why all this fuss. ClipShare is being developed based on the initial planning. Nothing changed. ClipShare is and will remaing the most popular video sharing script, what reason do we have not to keep it ?
