New 3.0 Templates

I am curious as to what you guys are looking for in a template in regards to layout and design. Despite the pending release of 2.7, I have decided to develop some templates for 3.0, depending on interest of course. I figure that some like me, prefer 3.0 over the 2.x series. At least until the 2.x series catches up with 3.x in terms of features.

I do have a few ideas, but before I get to deep into this, I wanted to see whether any one is even interested and of course, I wanted to get some feedback from you all to see what precisely it is you are looking for.
