I need a host, FAST!

Hey,

Well im looking for a new host for my website as my current host is kicking me off because my site is hitting almost 2million uniques a day and he says that it's to much for his intel p4 to handle - boo hoo.

Ok down to serious business.

I'm looking for a host, preferably either a VPS or dedicated server - if anyone else is looking for a dedicated server then perhaps we can go halvsies or maybe you have a dedicated server that you can rent out some space to me.

I'm looking for a decent CPU with atleast a 100meg link (shared is ok for just now) and a large enough HDD - please share your hosts who you are with.

I have about 8 days to get this sorted.

Wrong forum. On this forum i think a few sites hits the 20k a day. Let alone, 2.000.000.. a day.

How much GB you need?
How much BW you use at the moment?
What is your budget?

I personally feel you cannot host such a heavy traffic site on VPS or shared server.

You will surely require a dedicated server for your site to perform well..When you are getting 2 million unique hits per day ..you should surely think to go for a dual core dedicated server to ..keep up your site performance rather than compromising on cost.

you will loss serious business if you compromise on cost for such a good site.

Yep, with 2 millinos uniques I would surely go for multiple dedi servers.
But it always depends on how much $$ traffic is generating

I generate about $10 for each 1000 users.
So 1 million would be 10.000 USD/daily
Sounds UNBELIEBVIEBLE!
I would go for 10 servers then immediately

Yeah? and max bandwidth: 2000GB?
Enough for 2.000 uu, but not for 20.000, not for 200.000, won't even mention of 2 millions.
Also pricing far too high as for this class hosting.
