Yes cirtex does SUCK! I contacted support just the other day cause there server was down AGAIN and they replyed sorry we had a host that caused a problem. OK what about the day before? The day before that? and before that? DAM every day.
SHIT! 99% uptime should read 75%. Im pissed cause they offer 30day money back but by the time you notice all the problems it's past 30day and your SECREWD! I paid for a year and I have to eat the cost. CIRTEX GET WITH IT. OR LOOSE IT ALL. |

Thats why you should never pay for anything other than monthy with your host unless you have been with them for a while and can actually trust them. 99% uptime is a joke in terms of uptime policies- that means they can be down for 7.2 hours a month! I don't believe in uptime guarantees because they usually have too many terms and conditions and it's a number game just like overselling: out of 100 clients on a server that is below the uptime guarantee, 20 of them will notice the downtime, 5 of them will bother emailing them about it, and 2 of them will even remember that they should get their money back. On top of that, only one of them will have the necessary proof that the server was down, so the host is out by $8 in the end but the other $792 they will still make (as in $8/month x 99 clients). That one client just got his $8 back, but might have lost $1000 in sales/commissions/users/etc.
That's one of the reasons we don't offer yearly packages, and we don't offer an uptime guarantee- they are marketing ploys and scams :/ |
