How many users can CS 4.1 handle??

I want to know how many users a day or at a same time CS can handle?
Can CS script handle 100k users at a same time? or can CS handle over 500k users a day??

There's a few large adult sites in the alexa -6000 range which i suspect hit's around 100k a day however with that said, they have optimized their code.

I know a few that do alright with 50k a day with slight optimization.

Forget about Clipshare and be prepared for huge expense on both: server and script optimization.
Wonder how can you have such expectations with rather small experience in video business...

CS will handle that type of traffic just fine.. You will however need to throw some hardware at it.. We have a client that is using 1 server and Amazon S3. They aren't quite at 100k uniques a day (15k), but they do server up 500k page views a day ithout any problems at all and bandwith is about 34MB per minute.

If you get 100k visitors per day, plan on more hardware, lots more.. Its not that the software can't handle it, its the server.. You can only spawn so many processes to handle the incoming requests. Thats why we setup our client to off-load content requests to amazon's S3 service.

I run some 50 000 uu per day on core 2 duo and 4 gb ram.. i got also vbulletin forum on the same server with some over 10000ppl. but here is osome 2000uu a day... mostly et evenings it is a problem for a hour... lots of ppl start to watch in same time after work etc...

How Much Quotations Is Expected to optimize it? I dont worry about server cost but i want the script to be able to handle such loads? I plan to run it in a 1gbit ports 8Gb rams multiserver.. so i was thinking the script should be good too..
