Mod for displaying Youtube etc clips

Is there a mod, that transforms Clipshare into a niche platform displaying youtube clips... extend that to other video platforms, there's plenty of them.

Instead of uploading a video, you just enter the URL of the video.. or something along those lines.

I don't want to run my own video hosting site, due to legal and bandwidth reasons.

Is that possible with clip-share. Any link to see it work maybe?

Yes, it is possible, if you buy and install the Youtube Grabber plugin. Your members simply enter the youtube video URL, and the script grabs the title, description, tags and embeds the video automatically on your site.

Your clipshare hosting is that payable per month? Or per year?
I can have that plugin installed there too I reckon?

Could I link to that hosting you're providing via a CNAME record so I can keep running my site and add this as a subdomain.

Hi,

We dont offer hosting, we only advertise for other hosting companies. You will need to discuss the domain name problems with your hosting company.
