Thumbs down ZzZzZz HELP!

i ordered the script install, server setup and re-branding over 4 days ago now and the script has been installed the server has been setup (not properly) I have no idea about the re-branding... I got an email this morning from the server setup technician telling me to contact the development team because its not converting the videos... I am getting slightly worried about this mess... for starters why didn't he contact the development team he knows what the errors are and they sell these packages with a 48 hour setup mines taken over twice as long and it still doesn't work... WTH is going on :| can anyone let me know what the problem with the videos not converting could be so I can maybe fix it myself... http://www.nawtytube.co.uk/info.php (server setup) http://www.nawtytube.co.uk log in - user name: testing, password NZw95D

Thanks a million!

Well, if videos are not converting then can i ask, are you resizing them? because if you are you might need to edit convert.php and change the encode command (find -vop, change to -vf) - i can see thumbs are being made and i assume the uploads are going ok, just need to check your paths to mencoder, ffmpeg, flvtool2 etc etc, also check that your directories are setup as per the install instructions and permissions set...

You might need the debugging scripts (upload & convert.php) to assist further

Hi,

The problem is you are running Clipshare on a PHP as CGI configured server. Right now, clipshare only works with PHP as a Apache Module (DSO). We
are working to find a 100% working solution and once fixed the Client Area
will be updated. You can change the hosting company or if its a VPS/dedicated
server you can reconfigure PHP to run as a Apache Module.

There are lots of providers that natively support Clip-Share and have experience solving their problems. My site has quite a few, try GlowHost or AptHost (off my site)
