Video and Pre Roll Ads

Good Day

Hi i am a new member here planning on purchasing your script for a long term video site in a specific niche area. I have been browsing this forums for some time, but now i am ready to purchase

I say the demo that Danny had before(it allowed ads to pop up in the videos, as well as insert short video clips before a video), of the advertising module and all the features that you listed in the post. When i purchase your script i will be more than willing to pay for this plugin/module. Will pre- purchase to even start using it if you say its not ready.

I sent a PM to Danny but he hasnt replied yet. Can a sales person or someone formilar with this feature please give me some information.




Even though i do not have the script. i think you guys are great since i have seen updates in more than a reasonable time for the price of the script. Keep up the good work

It all depends on video player. Must support ads.
Current CS players don't support any ads.
But you can always switch player to licensed Agriya player or free JW Player or any other if you find.
Both mentioned support pre, mid and post ads.

JW player supports mid roll ads, but Agriyas player don`t.
I use JW player for embeded videos and serve MID roll ad with it. Off course, it can be used as the main player.

It dosent have some nice looking skin but its the best player so far by functions (IMHO). V4.0 of the player will have skinning support.

Personally, I would not recommend Agriya player (I have Agriya elite player). Its looking nice, but its full of bugs, and the support is the worst in the world.

I can agree, Agriya is far from being good enough player.
So I'm working on my own player, based on JW. I've heard of JW 4.0. Heard of skinning feature too, though I still need some more features that I'm just working on.

Oh okay so from my understanding. Clipshare Pro comes with the plugin/feature to support video ads etc, but it dpends on the flash player i use with clipshare.

So i wont need any additional plugin or modifications to the script

Dagre use Agriya player currently on videos page.

Bizman13, its not like that. Currently Clipshare pro dosen`t have support for video ads af far as I know. When you have a flash player that supports video ads, than you have the needed plugin.

i am a newbie to this forum... and i recently purchased the cs. but what i wanna say you guys is i have found a new player and its looks like having all the things that why you guys been discussing in this thread. but for free player, no support. so i need some one to help on installing this ripe player on my clipshare.. . you can also check that player here and can have some idea about how to install the player... hitasoft.com

kindly someone help me on installing this player on CS.

Yep, nice player, but comparing:
no sizing options, no cookies stored (volume, etc.), no skins or colors options visible, some other extras as well.
Then once you have options to display ads - how do you want to display it?
Manually editing xml? This is useless. You need new dynamic ads system or new ads system built into admin.

The only advantage is slow motion - that's easy to do, however such slow motion I do not find so nice as on most videos it will look rather pretty jagged.
Simply such feature uses nothing else as small pause/play on each timer interval.
Real slow motion requires frame bitmaps recording, what is not possible for live share movies streaming (MEMORY!)

Can the player support javascript preroll ads?
for example, I want to use adbrite ads codes on the preroll.
so far, only longtail video can do it as far as I know.
