Questions regarding multiple servers mod

Hi, I just purchased multi-server mod and opened a ticket for it. I have a question regarding that.

1. I wonder if you guys provide a list of files you edited?
2. When I need to add 3rd server as an additional file server, can I do it myself?
3. How long does it take for you guys to complete installation?

Hi,

In this cases (multi-server) it can take more then 2 days, i do the installations, but its a lot work (more then 2-3 hours for the installation).

1. I can, after i install it will provide a list of files that where edited, on the main
server include/config.php and upload.php will be edited.
2. Basically yes, but you need to configure clipshare first. You need to copy
all files from the video servers to the new server, configure the new script and
after this add the new server in siteadmin.
3. 48-72 hours in most cases.

I am planning to buy multi server mod.
Can I install the mod by myself?
Do you have complete step by step guide how to install the mod?

Hi,

There is not documentation for the module, and even with documentation, unless you are a system administrator or very skilled with computers you wont be able to install it (i apologise if i subestimated you). You need to install the modules (mencoder, mplayer, ffmpeg, flvtool2) on every video server and you need to configure clipshare (only the upload part, but its still configuration), you need to give access from one server to another via mysql...

Yes, I could install all the requirement modules.Here is my site running from my homebox linux fedora 8.
I 'am sure if there is a documentation or guide how to install your mod i could do by myself.please let me know if someday in the future you have documentation,Guide how to install, Iwill buy this mod.
