For me, the YouTube plug-in is one of the most interesting features that Clip-Share has to offer. The ability to instantly populate your own site with hundreds of clips is huge! In fact, it sounds too good to be true (and you know what that usually means).
I'm not a lawyer, but it seems to me that the 'terms of use' on the YouTube site strictly prohibited the downloading and rebranding of YouTube content into a 'tube clone site, and it also seems to me that anyone using the Clip-Share plug-in (and perhaps the Clip-Share people themselves) will one day face the YouTube/Google legal team. Am I being paranoid about this? Have their been any legal challenges to the YouTube plug-in? Has Clip-Share solicited legal advise on this matter? I hope that you can put my concerns to rest. It really like what I see in your product and look forward to using it on my site. |
