Default Upgrading from 3.0.1 to 4.0.x

I have a fully licensed version of Clipshare Pro 3.0.1, which I love and highly recommend, and would be interested in upgrading to Clipshare 4.0.x, if only for the ability to grab YouTube videos. I do have a few questions regarding the upgrade however:

1. How smooth is the upgrade process from 3.0 to 4.0? I ask because I actually began at Clipshare 2.0, and the upgrade process from 2.0 to 3.0 was aggravating to say the least, and can't really afford the downtime at this point. (I will say that I actually discovered a few bugs in the process, and worked a lot with developer Aryos to eventually resolve the problem).

2. Since the client center has been upgraded it doesn't appear that I have an active account there any longer. Do I have to purchase (repurchase) a full license for ClipShare 4.0, or is there an upgrade path/price I can take?

3. How easy is it to install the YouTube video grabber plug in? How is this different from the ability to embed YouTube videos in 3.0. Does this plug in work with other sites, such as DailyMotion?

4. BTW, it is impossible to log on the ClipShare demo site. It is asking for (and accepting) the user confirmation with either the demo log in or a new user registration.

Basically I'm happy with my current Clipshare version, and the new version has some features that are enticing enough to get me to upgrade, but only if the upgrade path is smooth (it literally took me two weeks to go from 2.0 to 3.0) and secondly I'm hoping there is an upgrade path so I don't have to pay full price again.

Regards

Correction, the e-mail verification on the Clipshare demo site did eventually work, however it took three tries for some reason?

Is there a demo of the YouTube embedder plug in available?

As I know you just need to buy one of these:

ClipShare - One Year Free Updates Period - €31,-
Extend your free Updates / Upgrades period by One Year. Updates DOES NOT include future additional modules that are being sold separately.

ClipShare - Lifetime Free Updates Period - €65,-
Get free Updates / Upgrades for Lifetime. Updates DOES NOT include future additional modules that are being sold separately.

After that you will have all updates in new client area.

Upgrading from previous versions to new one is pretty simple. Upgrade instructions writen by Symtab are clear enough to follow.

Wish you luck with your site and upgrading protocol.

Best regards,
B.
