Default Purchase Process SUCKS :(

I bought ClipShare Pro 3 hours ago, and I'm still waiting for it. I received the confirmation email, verified the funds were taken from my account, and still I wait.

I have followed the instructions that come with the confirmation email (after you purchase, there are further steps necessary to download - including someone on the clipshare side MANUALLY verifying the purchase UGH)

What makes this more annoying is that the confirmation email has a download link - but in clipshare's infinite wisdom, they have apparently decided that link should only give you the TEMPLATES, not the app itself.

What pushes this over the top in the annoying factor is that the CC processor tries to sell you a "download gaurantee" service for $10, they hold your download for you for 1 year - What the CC processor probably doesn't know is that they are not holding, or for that matter emailing you a link for, the ACTUALLY software. There is no indication that I saw that lets you know that if you spend the extra $$ you are wasting your money - this should be corrected!

We live in an electronic world, people want their purchases ASAP, there is a mechanism built into your CC processor that allows instant access, and for some reason you are intentionally circumventing this.

Please send me my software. I have paid for it, I would like to start using it.

You know anyone who wants to wait 2 days before they can start using something they bought? Especially when there is no actual delivery required.

The CC Processor has built in direct delivery, which clipshare is deliberately circumventing. At the very least, this is probably a violation of the CC Processor's Terms of Service.

Over 7 hours since purchase and now I'm wishing I went with MediaMax or VideoWatch Pro.

I bought clip share pro 2 days ago without problems. I recieved the email and it had a download link for clip-share pro 4. Then you take the "Swreg Order Number" thats at the top of the email and register in client.clip-share.com, ( there will be a register link in your email) and put the email you signed up with and the order number and it will manually approved within 24 hours. (For me I was approved about 10 hours later) Then you can access the client area and downloads. Also you can use your order number and put in your forum account a join the private group to see the private forums.

Ok, I'm a dumb ass, and I can admit that.

The file I got in my email confirmation was "ClipShare Pro 4.0.3 CSS.zip", unzipped it contained:

Distribution/
ChangeLog.txt ClipShare Pro 4.0.0 (DarkRed) ClipShare Pro 4.0.0 (SkyBlue)
ClipShare Pro 4.0.0 (DarkOrange) ClipShare Pro 4.0.0 (LimeGreen)


Because the zip file had "CSS" and it contained directories with the theme names I (wrongly) thought all I got was the smarty templates. No idea why they would package it that way (especially when you can so easily store themes and switch between them within smarty).

In any case, bottom line is, I was wrong - I did in fact get the right file.

lol, also you should register for the client access using your swreg order number in the email becuase there is newer versions for download then 4.0.0

Once you know the script better, you will know why it is not using switch between templates.
In my opinion it is not so bad and allows to avoid hundreds of useless, memo killing code for certain template.

From other hand, I have many other scripts, not video related, which offer templates switch, and first thing I do - remove useless templates. Just to keep my folders clear, save some disk space .

I must gladly say, when I bought a script, waited 3-4 hours for activation then sent an email to CS team and received polite and friendly reply, then my account was activated in about 1 hour.
Really not so bad.

This is how the Clipshare Support reputation goes up!
