It's about the script not the forums. Maybe they have less problems so less posts...

Clipshare is the best for those who know what to do. We use it at http://media.vietprofile.com and it is working great for us. We never follow the full upgrade strategy buy switching to the latest release. We will look for the mod to integrate and keep our current stuff. We name our own version of upgrade and not following the CS version because We are currently running a mixed script of CS different version. Some stuff We don't need to use, some we will need to use so no full upgrade for us. However, it is working solidly. The most issues due to the UNSOLVED MYSTERY between server resources and the file size upload and the timeout of browser. IF WE HAVE A SYSTEM TO RESOLVE THIS, CS WILL BE THE BEST.

We could create a system to manually convert those VIDEO FILES THAT UNABLE TO CONVERT DURING THE PROCESS.

@Vietprofile: Site của bạn nhìn kool lắm, nhưng nếu có thời gian thì bạn nên sử dụng attachmax, demo: http://attachmax.com tôi nghĩ là nó cool hơn đấy ^^
@All: I dont think ClipShare is the best. I stopped using clip-share bcuz of security issue. Anyone tested AttachMax ? (http//attachmax.com) , i think it's better ...

Does it encode videos locally on your server or does an offshore server that they run encode the videos like other scripts?
You should ask this question on another forum because of course you will not get any objective answer here

Or you should browse the forums first or read the documentation before asking questions, already documented or answered. CS encodes on the local server. To do that, you need to have some modules insalled. To see the requirements, refer to CS official website, they are documented there.

No, I think the reply from vietprofile was a good review of the script:

I don't know why he's having those problems, but most don't. However, the first part of his review is what I think too- ClipShare is a good script IF you know what you are doing. It is not a plug-and-play script, but it is a good foundation for any site you plan on creating, but only if you have the knowhow to write your own code and design your own templates.
