Alstrasoft - Has anyone tried it?

The Alstrasoft video sharing application appears to have everything this application promises.

Has anyone tried it? Is Alstrasoft a good company or just another fly by night operation? Do they have a forum?

And hey, if ANYONE at Clip-Share reads this - give us a real-world timeline on your numerous bug fixes and I'll use your software - which I paid for in good faith.

Probably the thing that pissed me of the most was the audacity to run a Holiday Special while ignoring valid inquiries from Paid in Full Customers.

I have send two emails to this company, ask them if they have one forum... and never had reply...

Sure you will have contact to buy... but after... ?

My solution will to develop mods and corrected bug with some freelance coders...

I've heard that ther eis no support for alstra's product and they have not released any fixes. Most people that go with them end up hiring someone to fix the bugs.

alstrasoft support is very very bad. lot of bugs on their software and a lot of hackings to their software. please beware.

Search these forums and the internet, although I've never tried them, they are a nightmare from what I've seen/heard.

There are at least 4 scripts out right now that are based on this same code. I wonder since they all use the same basic code if that means it was open source at some point or if each company paid to license some broken software to use in their own programs. That seems silly but we all licensed broken software to run our video sharing sites so anything is possible. Yup. May as well laugh at ourselves. What I'm gonna do with write a kick-a$$ program and secretly develop it to completion and then release older versions to the public. Then, I'll have a couple of my buddies release mods and bug fixes every couple months and FINALLY get to the final release when our mod/bug fix sales slow down. Man, I should write that as an indie film and release it on our site!

We tried Altrasofts application, and though the back end was pretty impressive with it's reporting and configuration, it's being made for pay sites mainly and the front end REALLY lacks functionality.

It reminded me of someone putting the cart before the horse.
