Question This might be too complicated for a noob

I have had hardly any experience in creating a website with the exception of Frontpage many years ago and some dreamweaver stuff. With this in mind, I was looking for a program like clip-share that offers a template. I don't have a ton of money an the site is just a hobby so I don't want to throw too much at it. I would want to rearrange the template a little, but I think it would be too much. Is there a tutorial, about it? Any advice or suggestions from others would be appreciated. I want to make sure before I buy, I would be tearing out what little hair I have left...
Thanks.

The template is CSS based....you can easily change colors, fonts, images, buttons...without editing all the templates, but only the css file and image files... If you require some indepth customization of the template...you need to know CSS and XHTML...

Dreamweaver is by far the best app available for doing this. I use it all the time. You can create xhtml pages and a matching CSS stylesheet in a breeze.

I agree with pheal.

Dreamweaver opens tpl files just like html and it doesn't ruin the formating when you save it. I suggest you setup your domain within Dreamweaver so that you can edit and upload/download directly in Dreamweaver itself. Saves alot of time and can do file checking without using another application for transferring files.

If you do not see tpl files on the Dreamweaver file list then change the file type to "all supporter" or "tpl" from the 'open' screen.
